Hi my name is Michael Beel and I am the creative director @ BUOY HAIRDRESSING in Wellington New Zealand.
Having only started in hairdressing in 1998 I have become in that short amount of time, an award winning stylist, platform artist and one of NZ’s most inspiring educators!

I am passionate about the relationship between fashion and hair and am always pushing the envelope forward, while still maintaining commercial viability and celebrating the essence of femininity.

As a hair and make-up artist, I have worked on many photo shoots, runway shows and commercial work to an extremely high standard.
